For the 6th Edition of the International Conference MICRO 2026,
we will be together in person for five intense days, this time in Cádiz, Spain.

It has been over 10 years since we launched the MICRO international conference series, and the MICRO Community continues growing in ever widening circles.
The aim of MICRO 2026 is to celebrate this community of researchers concerned with the challenge of Plastic Pollution from macro to nano, with a core focus on microplastics, as a means to:
(i) Facilitate open access to the breadth of emerging & ongoing plastic pollution research;
(ii) Identify current research frontiers, evidence needs, and new challenges; &
(iii) Contribute a collaborative effort to our vibrant community.
